The rally may officially finish in Monaco, but for those who are not quite ready to say goodbye, we are heading across the water to one of the Riviera’s most spirited lunch institutions.

Set in a rocky cove on Île Sainte-Marguerite, just off Cannes, La Guérite is where long Mediterranean lunches slowly become something rather more animated.

Think sun-drenched tables, generous sharing plates, chilled glasses, DJ-led energy, dancing between courses, and that unmistakable Côte d’Azur feeling where time becomes wonderfully negotiable.

This is not a quiet farewell lunch. It is a proper Verve send-off.

The Main Sitting: 3:00pm

€250 per person, sharing menu.

Our main Verve Rally booking is for 20 guests at 3:00pm.

This is the headline sitting, the one with the most atmosphere, when La Guérite tends to shift from elegant island lunch into full Riviera celebration.

Places at the 3:00pm table will be allocated on a first-booked basis.

The menu is an elaborate sharing-style feast at €250 per person, excluding drinks, with a generous selection of starters, mains, sides and desserts. Expect dishes such as burrata with cherry tomatoes and basil, grilled octopus, sea bass ceviche, crispy kadaif prawns, homemade tarama, sea bream with thyme and rosemary, lemon-marinated baby chicken, grilled prawns, ratatouille, truffle rigatoni, homemade fries, melting chocolate cake, cheesecake and fresh fruit.

Once the 3:00pm Table Is Full

12:30pm relaxed lunch, then stay for the fun

Once the first 20 places are booked, additional guests will be allocated to our 12:30pm sitting.

This will be a more relaxed à la carte lunch, ideal for those who would like to enjoy the island at an easier pace before the energy rises later in the afternoon.

After lunch, you can linger at the bar, take a beach lounge overlooking the water, go for a swim.

A Note on Drinks

Good fun, good wine, good sense

La Guérite is wonderfully indulgent. It's made for long island lunches, where bottles arrive, glasses are topped up, and the afternoon naturally gathers pace.

With a large table, we want to keep things relaxed rather than forensic. No one should have to end the day working out who had which glass, or how many.

For simplicity, standard table wine will be shared between those drinking alcohol. This includes the usual flow of Minuty rosé, white wine, red wine and beer, along with still/sparkling table water served throughout.

If you are not drinking alcohol, you will not be included in the shared alcohol bill. You can simply settle your own mocktails, soft drinks and any personal non-alcoholic drinks individually. Table water will be shared by the table.

Champagne, cocktails, spirits, prestige labels and any special bottles will be settled on your own tab. Should a few guests wish to enjoy something together, they are welcome to arrange that directly between themselves.

This keeps the afternoon generous, easy and discreet.

Transfers & Tenders

We will arrange transfers from our Hermitage Monte Carlo to the Port Pier Canto where the tenders will take over for the final leg of our journey to Île Sainte-Marguerite and return at 7:30pm (€80 pp roundtrip).

Return boat tenders from Cannes to La Guérite are €25 per person which is added to the table bill.

We will depart the hotel approximately 1hr 30 minutes before each reservation, allowing time to reach Port Pierre Canto, wait for our tender, and tender journey of around 7-10 minutes.

Once full, remaining Ververs will be placed on the 12:30pm relaxed lunch sitting, with the option to stay on and enjoy the island as the afternoon gathers momentum.
